As you will be able to see from the photos below we had a very fun and busy week playing, experimenting, and doing art work with bubbles. Practice blowing bubbles: Mad Bubble Science graph. We graphed which solution the children liked best. The solutions were made by adding sugar, honey, salt, food coloring, vegetable oil, and corn syrup to bubble solution. Bubble Wrap We used bubble wrap in two ways during center time. The children used their small motor muscles to pop all the bubbles on a piece of bubble wrap. The children had a fun time painting the bubble wrap to make prints. Our fish bubble prints display will be up on Monday. Paint & blowing bubbles to make prints. Writing Readiness Centers: "Writing" on white boards, "B" is for bubble worksheet, and drawing pictures for Isabel's birthday book. Learning Centers: Light table, self serving snack, and as a group, we put together "Pete the cat" floor puzzle. "Dancing Raisins" experiment: We observed how the bubbles in three different liquids made raisins dance. The liquids were ginger ale; club soda; and a water, baking soda and vinegar mix.
